By Martha Zoller - Over the months since I returned from Iraq, I have written about many special people in the military. We tend to make these guys larger than life and in my mind, they are all larger than life—they are all heroes. These are men and women who put the defense of this country as their work at this time in their life and sometimes for their career. Whether you are in for one tour of duty or you stay for 30 years, you are a hero. I will continue to write these stories as long as there are soldiers deployed in harm’s way. This week I am bringing it closer to home.
